AdBlue® is a high-quality product which makes urea as its main raw material. AdBlue® is a high purity urea dissolved and suspended in deionised water.
AdBlue® will help your business to reduce harmful emissions and it will reduce your fuel costs by average of five percent. It can be used in most weather conditions however if stored over 30ºC for a longer period, hydrolysis occurs which will reduce AdBlue® power and its shelf life. Protect from external factors such as sunlight and dust.
All modern diesel engines with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) units in their exhaust systems can benefit from AdBlue®. These include diesel-powered vehicles such as trucks, buses, tractors, cars, vans and off-road vehicles.
SCR engines use a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) such as AdBlue®. The fluid is stored in a separate tank in the system and injected into the exhaust stream. This injection causes a chemical reaction in the SCR catalytic converter which turns oxides of nitrogen (NOx) into environmentally-friendly components, diatomic nitrogen (N2) and water. As a result, selective catalytic reduction systems are being used as a sustainable and effective way of protecting the environment.
AdBlue® combined with an SCR-catalyst converter has proven to be the leading technology for reducing nitrogen oxide (Nox) in exhaust gasses which are created in the combustion process in diesel engines. The synergy between SCR technology and AdBlue® can help reduce NOx emissions by up to 80%.
The AdBlue® trademark is held by the German Association of the Automobile Industry, which ensures that quality standards are maintained in accordance with ISO 22241 (ISO-22241-1) specifications. By buying a reagent for your vehicles with the AdBlue® registered trademark (®), you can be sure that the product’s quality and specification is guaranteed to meet all Standards. Our AdBlue® is cost-effective, high quality and reliable.
