AirNox is a South Africa-based popular supplier of AdBlue®, a diesel exhaust fluid helpful in reducing the harmful emissions released by modern, diesel engines.

In order to achieve the target of net-zero carbon-reduction in many countries, it becomes crucial to make use of diesel exhaust fluid in modern, diesel vehicles. Also, it becomes a legal requirement in most countries to buy AdBlue® and use it in your heavy vehicles and/or passenger vehicles to eliminate harmful exhaust emissions.

So, if you are the owner of a modern, diesel-filled car or a goods vehicle then it becomes your responsibility to find out where to buy high quality AdBlue® and keep your vehicle functioning properly while, at the same time, saving our environment from harmful emissions.

As an official and VDA-licensed manufacturer of AdBlue® in South Africa, AirNox is all set to supply AdBlue® at the most cost-effective price and in any quantity you want. For continuous supply of AdBlue®, you can always count on AirNox.

As part of our commitments to the AdBlue® industry, AirNox produces and distributes AUS40/Marine Urea to the shipping industry across South Africa and Mozambican ports to help shipping companies reduce their carbon emissions and protect the planet.

AirNox Organic Fertilizer

As from 2023, AirNox started a new phase in the chemical industry by introducing AirNox Organic Fertilizer to the South African and African market to help the farmers across the continent reduce the costs of fertilizer and increase food security. AirNox Organic Fertilizer is a Bacterial Fertilizer created by enriching the Coelom Liquid with additional processes and biological materials. It is good for all sizes of farming/agricultural operations, whether it is small-, medium- or large-scaled, and it can be used with all kinds of plants, trees, fruits and vegetables, and the usage pattern is almost the same.

The population of Africa is projected to reach 1.7 billion by 2030, that represents an annual growth of 2.37 percent between 2023 and 2030. In order to ensure that the people on the continent consistently achieve food security, African farmers must have unrestricted access to cheap but high-quality fertilizers. AirNox is therefore committed, through the introduction of its Liquid Organic Fertilizer, to supporting South African and African farmers in their drive to make the continent to be food sufficient.

Farmers can increase their annual yields by as much as 50-100 percent and reduce their overhead, farming costs by up to 50 percent, possibly reaping or harvesting “Early Crops” within the period of 15-20 days so that they could sell them in the market for higher prices.

3. Agricultural machinery

Buy AdBlue® for Agricultural Machinery

As required by the strict Euro V guidelines that went into effect on 1 January 2019, every new diesel-engine farming equipment or machinery will be required to comply with these latest EU emissions guidelines.  This entails that AdBlue® will be needed for agricultural machines for NOx emissions control.

Based on our current 16 million-litres-per-year capacity, AirNox is well-equipped to help you meet the Euro V requirements by regularly supplying your AdBlue® needs irrespective of the size of your agricultural equipment, whether it is 1 agricultural machine or a series of farming tractors.

4. Construction machinery

Buy AdBlue® for Construction Machinery (Non-Road Mobile Machinery)

The European Commission’s emissions legislations now require that the new non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) utilized in the construction industry have Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology that is necessary for reducing the dangerous Nitrous Oxide (NOx) emissions. This then makes AdBlue® essential for the construction machinery in order to meet the stringent EU Emissions requirements.

It is important to note that the EU emissions guidelines also cover some vehicles, transportable equipment, and mobile machines that were not intentionally designed to convey passengers or goods, such as:

  • Portable generator and smaller plant engines.
  • Mobile cranes.
  • Wheel loaders, hoist and lifting gear used on harbours and ports.
  • Excavators, dozers, and dump trucks.

AirNox have been smoothly supplying our construction customers with AdBlue® on their quarry, mining, and construction sites without any hassles or logistic difficulties.  Depending on your requirements, we can deliver anywhere from 20-litre cans or small drums to larger storage options (IBCs) on-site.

We will gladly accommodate and meet your demand for high-volume AdBlue® supply as your construction operations expand, ensuring quality and contamination-free on-site activities.

5. Passenger cars

Buy AdBlue® for Passenger Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV)

Almost all new diesel-engine passenger cars, light-duty vehicles, and vans are now required to use AdBlue® in strict adherence to a suite of emissions legislations that were introduced since 2016.

How does the system work?

When AdBlue® is injected into the exhaust systems of your Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) vehicles, it converts the harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) into water stream and non-noxious steam. The SCR technology essentially reduces nitrogen oxides and your car’s level of fuel consumption, and this is an environmentally friendly process.

How will I know if the system needs topping-up?

When the level of your vehicle’s AdBlue® seriously goes down, you are likely going to receive some warnings that could come in form of advice or messages via your car’s driver information system. You may have a difficulty restarting your car’s engine after turning off its ignition if you decided to ignore these warnings.

Of special note, the average customer use of AdBlue® is 1.5 Litres for every 1000km for passenger vehicles. This may also depend on some other factors such as the distance you travelled, size of your car’s engine, and your style of driving.

It is advisable that you pay attention to the above-mentioned warnings and/or observations and quickly do a full AdBlue® top-up to avoid having your car stuck on the road when its engine can’t be restarted! If you are not sure, contact AirNox, we can top up your vehicle on site or deliver AdBlue® to your home.

7. Marine

Buy Marine Urea/AUS40

Marine Urea/AUS40 is produced for new, modern ships that are equipped with the Selective Catalytic Reduction technology (SCR) technology.

Both AUS40/Marine Urea and AdBlue® produce the same effect, but the major difference is that Marine Urea (AUS40) has higher urea concentration than AdBlue® because of the bigger vessel engine that utilizes it.

Using quality, premium-grade raw materials, AirNox specializes in the production of Marine Urea that should be used in Emission Control Areas aimed at drastically reducing airborne emissions from shipping vessels.

After several years of supplying Marine Urea/AUS40 to satisfied clientele, our staff have become experts/specialists in all matters related to the use of our product in Marine systems/vessels.

At the moment, we are open to liaising with any partners that would like AirNox to supply our Marine Urea/AUS40 to their customers. We provide Marine Urea/AUS40 across all South African and Mozambican ports such as Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Beira and Pemba.

8. Industry

Buy Bulk AdBlue® for Industries in South Africa and Southern Africa

In recent years, AirNox has worked with many industries to help them reduce the amount of noxious Nitrous Oxide (NOx) emitted during their routine operations. In addition to recommending the best practices to our esteemed industrial clients, we have also gone ahead to assist them in equipping their existing machinery and equipment with the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) or the SNCR (Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction) so that they could use AirNox products such as AUS40 and AdBlue® to strategically limit the volume of emissions emerging from their manufacturing plants, incinerators, thermal plants, etc.

As a matter of fact, industries release a high volume of harmful NOx into the environment; this is why it is imperative for them to utilize a high-concentrated AUS40 solution to help them deal decisively with their emissions problems. Our industrial customers regularly order bulk deliveries of AUS40 which we, in turn, deliver quickly to them in order to guarantee that their daily operations are not affected or halted due to inadequate AUS40.
